Tibet, March 2008

The weekend of March 14, 15, 16 has been brutal for Tibetans in China.  It began on March 14 when Tibetan Buddhist monks demonstrated on the anniversary of the Chinese takeover of Tibet in 1959.  Rioting broke out, Han Chinese stores were ransacked and by Sunday, 80 people are dead, according to some counts.
